About Lauren Dreusicke, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Lauren Dreusicke, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at Joint Ventures Physical Therapy’s Downtown Boston – Water Street clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Iowa and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University. Lauren is Level 1 Dry Needling certified and has training in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) therapy. She is also a member of the APTA and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Lauren has a special interest in orthopedics, concussion rehabilitation, dance and performing arts, and sports-related injuries. She enjoys working with athletes of all backgrounds, with particular experience treating runners, football players, and multisport athletes. Having grown up as a dancer, Lauren brings a personal understanding of the movement, strength, and performance demands placed on dancers and other active individuals.
Lauren has also contributed to physical therapy education and professional development as a teaching assistant for Duke University’s DPT exercise prescription course. Her academic experience includes an APTA North Carolina poster presentation and work with the Duke University Center of Excellence in Manual and Manipulative Therapy.
Outside the clinic, Lauren enjoys yoga, Pilates, running, and strength training. She continues to stay connected to her lifelong love of dance by attending performances and participating in dance classes throughout the community.
