About Keefe Pesko PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Keefe Pesko, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at Highbar Physical Therapy’s Downtown Boston clinic who is passionate about helping patients recover from injury, improve performance, and return to the activities they enjoy most. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from California State University, Sacramento, before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Simmons University. Keefe is also certified in Level 1 Dry Needling.

Keefe has a special interest in treating orthopedic conditions, spine and back pain, and sports-related injuries. He particularly enjoys working with runners, overhead athletes, and individuals participating in change-of-direction sports. His treatment philosophy combines evidence-based care with individualized rehabilitation plans designed to reduce pain, restore movement, and help patients safely return to sport and everyday activities.

Outside the clinic, Keefe enjoys staying active through running and resistance training. He also loves spending time outdoors and taking advantage of everything each season has to offer, from hiking and trail running to other outdoor adventures.

“Growing up playing sports sparked my passion for movement and ultimately led me to pursue a career in physical therapy. I enjoy helping people return to the activities they love, whether that’s competing in sport, staying active, or simply moving with confidence.

My approach to rehabilitation is movement-based and evidence-informed, with an emphasis on patient education and building the confidence to achieve lasting results.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy strength training, running, and spending time in the mountains or by the ocean. When I’m not outdoors, you’ll find me baking the occasional loaf of sourdough.”
