About Dr. Rayna Medeiros, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Dr. Rayna Medeiros is a Physical Therapist who brings energy, athletic insight, and a patient-first mindset to every session. With clinical interests in orthopedics, spine and back pain, neck pain and headaches, and sports-related injuries, Rayna is passionate about helping patients move with confidence and return to the activities that give their lives meaning.

Rayna earned her Bachelor of Science from Clark University before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Northeastern University. She is an active member of the APTA and has contributed to research examining the effects of kinesio taping on subcutaneous tissues—reflecting her commitment to evidence-based care and continued learning.

As a former collegiate soccer player and experienced youth coach, Rayna understands firsthand the physical and mental demands of sport and performance. She brings that perspective into her clinical approach, combining individualized exercise programming, hands-on techniques, and patient education to help people build strength, resilience, and long-term success.

What drives Rayna most is empowering patients to take ownership of their health. Whether she’s helping an athlete return to play or guiding someone through recovery from pain or surgery, she is committed to creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard, challenged, and confident.

Outside the clinic, Rayna stays active through running, working out, and playing co-ed soccer. Her love of movement and teamwork carries into everything she does—both as a clinician and as a member of the JVPT and Boston community.
