Clinical Interests

Dana has extensive experience as an Occupational Therapist working within a variety of settings. Her interest in women's and maternal health stemmed from working with infants and toddlers in Early Intervention and post neonatal intensive care. She realized that wellbeing of mother and baby remain intertwined even after birth. While connected with the perinatal community, Dana enjoys working with women of all ages across the lifespan. Dana's training includes internal and external assessment and treatment, functional exercise programming, breathwork and nervous system retraining. As a pelvic floor occupational therapist, she treats the person as a whole - the physical symptoms are important, but the symptoms fit within the emotional and social context, values and belief systems, and mental health. Dana's approach includes manual therapy, nervous system regulation, lifestyle considerations, and movement/exercise specific to the individual's meaningful activity to reduce pain and dysfunction, to optimize wellness, and promote self care skills.

Personal Interests

Dana loves any opportunity to be outside - biking, hiking, running, or lounging on a towel at the park or beach. She enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, playing out Chopped in her kitchen, and most recently, baking sourdough bread.
