Clinical Interests

Carrie believes in full body postural, positional and muscular correction by addressing issues at the site of a patient’s complaint as well as root cause issues from the trunk and core which may contribute to lower and upper extremity issues. Enjoys working with persons dealing with orthopedic concerns throughout the body of all types and origin, whether from athletic adventures or the adventures of daily life. She will be taking the Orthopedic Certified Specialist Exam in 2018. Carrie has a strong background in manual therapy and believes in appropriately combining this with corrective therapeutic exercise. She has completed extensive training with the Postural Restoration Institute and is planning to complete certification in the next year. Carrie also has a special interest in treating musicians and dancers.

Personal Interests

Carrie enjoys staying active and particularly relishes outdoor adventures including biking, hiking, swimming, camping, sailing, and is open to any new adventure that comes her way. She also loves to play the piano, sing, dance, teach, travel, and learn about any new subject, skill, person, or place. She enjoys spending time with family and particularly enjoys doting on her nieces and nephews. She is active with her church and finds opportunities serve others locally, nationally or internationally fulfilling.
